About John
Born in Lexington, Kentucky, I participated in the Boy Scouts most
of my youth. I earned the Eagle Scout award, helped organize and
direct the Order of the Arrow Jamboree weekends and went on to run
a Sea Scout unit.
After I graduated from University of Kentucky with a Political
Science Degree in 1976, I went into sales as a Territory Representative
in Tennessee, and then decided to return to college and earn a degree
in Engineering.
As
an engineer, I worked in the textile industry for a few years and
then got the opportunity to work with an aerospace giant. I was
appointed the liason between Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering,
Management, and Cost Reporting Division and Programming and then
was then transferred to Seattle for the Missile Services Division.
Later, I entered into the real estate industry as a Real Estate
Investor. Over the years I began to like it so well that I chose
to become a Realtor in Port Townsend, Washington. I'm a member of
the National Association of Realtors and Jefferson County Association
of Realtors.
I am a supporting Business Member of the Wooden Boat Foundation
in Port Townsend, a Friend of Coastal and Sound Shoreline Clean-up
and Restoration, and enjoy sailing, fishing, and crabbing.
